When your dog is doing better than you are

.6 mile loopSo, Cassie and I made our way around our .6 mile loop this AM. Thanks to edema et al. I am hobbling pretty badly, with a real wobbly gate, to say the least, despite using a walking stick.

Cassie, at 13, is making the tour considerably more gracefully: it’s a little bit of a consternation to know your elderly dog is doing better than you are. Sigh. We continue to try and make our way, the best we can…

I’m proud of you for sticking with your morning routine of some exercise; no matter that the routine has to be different right now. Your determination and courage will see you through this difficult time. My thoughts are with you, every morning that I run!
