Dans un brouillard


Our 3-mile loop walk through the valley below Taizé and Ameugny this morning was covered in a fog that lifted as we walked, burning off almost completely as we arrived at the church at Taizé. I’ve walked to Taizé every morning for more than two weeks to attend the chanted, meditative service that the brothers there offer. We’ve just started stretching the walk from .8 mile to alternate 3- and 4-mile loops…

    Quelle surprise !

    I didn’t came here for some weeks and what a surprise today to find some french titles and photos on your website.

    I really like your fog path image. I can almost smell the fog.
    I just had a look to your photo archive. Wanted to see some of your b&w work but i saw the Annecy title and as i was born there …

    I hope you enjoy your litlle trip in our country although the bad weather (bad also in Provence today).

  3. So true about weather. Each type of weather has it’s one splendor, we just have to take the time to discover it. The slow movement of hills of fog on Puget Sound is another example. The trick is to realize that there is no bad weather anywhere…
