Wow...A Fedex package awaited on the porch this morning, as Linda and I returned from an InMenlo interview.

After undoing a couple yards of Homeland Security tape, there, gasp, was a copy of Zero History. Somewhere in the cyberverse lurks a shadowy figure, a scifi writer with a very kind heart…

So how is it? I guess you better give it a good review now!

John- only on page 16, but so far… 2 favorite characters from Spook Country have already appeared, Holly and Milgrim. Milgrim and I now have a connection that we didn’t share 2 years ago – details off line.

Scott- Yes, yes we both know how those pesky interwebs work… didn’t some novelist back in the 90s try to write about all this stuff, unintended consequences et c.? Can’t remember…

OK, I am novel-challenged. I read a lot of non-fiction stuff. I did just finish the hottest novel since a long time, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson. I was under whelmed and don’t get the international enthusiasm. for this book, the first of three apparently. So help me out here, give me the why for and who is of Mr. Gibson and the interesting stuff he brings to the reader.

    How ya doin, Chris?
Nice to see that good things still happen to good people!
